Boletus is a simple to use application for mushroom identification for both experts and novices. It can also store the localization where you find a mushroom, so you can get there back.
When you find an unknown mushroom in the nature, Boletus will ask different questions about the mushroom found -foot color, cap shape, existence of a ring, etc-. After that, the it will show a list of mushrooms that match your awnsers, presenting its name, description, photos and more.
Moreover youll be able to navigate through or mushroom database, and find mushrooms by its latin name, common name, or different attributes.
And the most important thing. All this is avaiable offline, accessible from the most repote parts where no internet is found.
Once you find a mushroom, you can store its localization and view it in a map, so you can come back there whenever you want.

ho scaricato l applicazione ma non si visualizza la mappa come mai???il resto e interessante ma sulla presentazione si vede la mappa del posto ma sullApp invece non si riesce a visualizzare . I downloaded the application but you do not see the map as never ??? and the rest of interesting but the presentation you see the map of the place but instead the App you can not see.What I have tried both on the iPhone but on iPad but nothing ! Do something !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was fast and easy to use and quickly allowed me to identify a mushroom growing at our camp site. There is a built in compass, a map log where I can record my discovered mushrooms, and I can easily post my trophies on FB with a photo from the program and a brief description of the mushroom. However I cannot post my own photo, therefore I give it 4 stars. Also, I would love more mushrooms to be included and would be willing to pay more. This was fun and simple to learn to navigate! Buy the upgrade from BoletusLite and you will see!
